I hired Ms. Seabrook for my child custody case. Upon accepting my case Ms. Seabrook provided an in depth consultation as to what services she could provide as well as all possible results for what I was attempting to pursue.
Ms. Seabrook was very professional and kept me inform in all avenues as she worked my case. I was always included and asked for my opinions from the very beginning until the very end.
Ms. Seabrook knowledge, experience, and understanding of child custody law proved beneficial as she was able to convince the judge to favor me for most of my requests.
I would highly recommend Ms. Seabrook to anyone seeking an attorney in reference to a child custody case.

For many people, there is a certain anxiety when selecting an attorney to handle your legal affairs, particularly if you already know the matter will be contentious. When I began looking for an attorney, I had similar sentiments. After researching and asking friends for recommendations. I chose Kelly Seabrook, as she came highly recommended to me by a friend. From our first meeting to our last moment in court, I was pleased with the service I received from Attorney Seabrook and her staff.

She is direct, knowledgeable about the law and provides sound legal advice to help you make the best decision for you. Ms. Seabrook and her staff are responsive, always returning my phone calls and emails within a day. I was provided clear communication at all stages and given all the necessary documentation to complete well in advance of my appearance in court.

In addition to her professionalism, Ms. Seabrook is compassionate and understanding, two important qualities that I believe helps the client know that you will be cared for.

I am grateful for Kelly Seabrook and appreciate the exceptional service she provided to me. I would certainly recommend her to those seeking legal counsel.

When our family experienced one of life’s greatest tragedies that required immediacy and sensitivity but also professional acumen, we turned to Attorney Kelly Seabrook and her staff. We knew that our situation could have a lasting impact on our family if not handled by a creditable and respected lawyer. Attorney Seabrook came highly recommended and she didn’t disappoint. She was not only available during traditional office hours but would answer our calls or emails at night and on the weekends. Attorney Seabrook was adamant about not telling us what we wanted to hear but providing us with sound and valuable legal advice based on the laws of SC, garnered from her many years of experience. In our opinion, we consider the legal representation that she provided unmatched in family law and non-traditional custody situations. If you find yourself in need of legal counsel, particularly when there is a lot that you hold valuable on the line, we highly and emphatically recommend Attorney Seabrook and her team!

I would not recommend this attorney to my worst enemy. Unprofessional and too expensive. She preach on the number of years she taught in practice but it will not show in the court room. Find you someone with an awesome reputation and their work speaks in the court room. She is too cheesy with the other attorneys. She will set you up for failure in the court room. It's a damn waste of money if you choose her. She will take your money and won't help you. Take my advice. Glad I work for a living and invested my money in someone who has my best interest at heart, like someone WHITE! Take this review serious, PLEASE!

Ms. Seabrook and her staff handled my divorce case with great support and care. Anytime I had any questions or concerns, she was always right on top of things. In addition, I enjoyed how she took care of business while in the court room. She is the one to get it done when you need it.

Kelly is an excellent attorney. We had a case dropped on us with less than a week to prepare. We were in her office on Monday and by Friday we were ready to go to court. Her team did and excellent job of having us prepared and getting the necessary documents ready in time which was no small feat in less than a week. I spoke with at least a hand full of attorneys and Kelly’s retainers was the same as all of attorneys if not cheaper than some. I understand that lawyer are expensive but with Kelly you get what you pay for. I you want an attorney who is going to fight for you and your kids she’s worth every penny.

Disappointed, to say the least. Ms Seabrook came recommended to me thru Legal Shield. Though I found her rather curt, she was willing to handle my separation/divorce, which, except for a marital property, was straightforward. I was hoping I had mistaken her attitude for confident professionalism. The separation paperwork was filed, and during the course of the mandatory 1 year waiting period, my husband and I worked out the details of our divorce, without mediation or the help of either of our attorneys. I phoned Ms Seabrooks office shortly after the 12 months was up to see when we were to get moving on the divorce. Good thing I did, as she stated that it was almost past the allotted time to file! Really, I thought. Were you going to call me or just let things lapse...?
The court date was set, and less than 24 hours before we were to appear, Ms Seabrooks assistant called and told me I had to bring somebody to court with me to swear that my husband and I had been living separately. I was panicked. All the people I know who could do this also work full time. Less than a days notice was not enough time for people to request off work. I went into work the next morning, obviously distraught. One of my co-workers suggested that perhaps a notarized letter would be acceptable to the courts, and she would be willing to write and sign this for me. I headed into court for our early morning appearance, notarized letter in hand. I phoned Ms Seabrooks office several times to see if this would be acceptable, speaking each time with her assistant. Ms Seabrook made it with just a few minutes to spare, and wasn't sure if this would work. When I said to her that I hadn't been given enough notice to ask someone to make arrangements to take off work, she said her assistant was new and hadn't realized she was supposed to let me know.
The judge would not accept the notarized statement. I called my co-worker, desperate. She was able to put everything on hold and run to the courthouse. Of course, at this point, the judge was seeing other cases, as we had now missed our time. My co-worker, missing work, was waiting also. We made it through, and thankfully my employer was very understanding.
Which brings me to fees. Though her mistake, Ms Seabrook had no problem charging me for the wasted time. A week later, speaking to my ex, he informed me he was getting a refund from his attorney. I had just received a bill for an additional thousand plus dollars. I was paying almost $1300 dollars more than my ex, and this was supposedly with my Legal Shield discount. I called Ms Seabrooks office to inquire, just to make sure this was correct. A week later, after no response, I called back again. The following day. I received an email with her detailed bill, service fees agreement I had signed, and an additional fifty some dollar bill to me for asking about my bill. The amusing thing is that she had sent a final letter, on lovely letterhead stationary, asking to keep her in mind for referrals. If this is how she thinks she'll get new business, I fear she'll starve.

DO NOT HIRE HER!!! She is always about MONEY. I literally had my case in the bag because I had all my documentation. Even the guardian at litem sided with me - my son's father was contempt. Well, after our court date, I hadn't heard anything from her nor had I received anything in the mail. So I went to the family court office. It was then I saw the memo from her to my ex's attorney, WITHOUT my consent, telling him that we would drop everything as long as they paid her attorney fees!!! I called her and she had the audacity to tell me that if we proceeded, my sons father would lose his job and I wouldn't receive child support. I was livid!!! For her to make that call w/out my consent and 2) to think that I cared about money instead of the well being of my child. SHE IS DIRTY AND ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!! I wish I could give her a 0.

One of the worse all about the money everything is rush. Do not get fool with how many years she was in practice, because if you not doing it well why do it.Once you give her that retainer fee watch how everything start to go up. Calls start off eight-dollars for ten minutes to twenty-five for two minutes. Will never recommend to nobody...
