I had gotten in an accident in downtown Atlanta where another driver switched lanes last minute, damaged my car from behind, and proceeded to lie to the police officer who showed up and tried to place the blame on me. I ended up having to go to court to fight the ticket, and tried (unsuccessfully) to have traffic videos pulled from the extremely unhelpful City of Atlanta employees. It was basically going to be my word against the other driver’s, and I was potentially going to end up with a big ticket.

Mr. Ryczek was able to get me out of this situation and got my case dismissed, thankfully. So no points on my record and no ticket for me! He was amazing and had me out of the courtroom in no time. He obviously is extremely knowledgeable and knows the ins and outs of how to best help his clients. I am so, so appreciative of his assistance and knowledge. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer!

I am an attorney. My firm rents an office from Rick and we also work with him on many cases. He's one of the best lawyers I know.

Extremely unprofessional. During the initial phone call to discuss my case Rick was very detailed and made me feel comfortable hiring him. After I started paying for his services he disappeared. I think he takes on more cases than he can handle and so things fall through the cracks. He rescheduled meetings and my court dates at the last minute numerous times because he had too many other obligations. I took off work and drove almost an hour to meet with him to review evidence (a meeting which he had rescheduled twice before). When I arrived at his office he informed me he had not had time to review anything about my case and we would have to talk about options at a later time. I do not think he ever actually reviewed my case. Not only is he unorganized but his support staff is completely incompetent. Rick or his staff lost important documents that I needed for court so I spent days trying to request new original copies. His staff billed me but did not record the payments I was constantly making. The last straw was when I received a letter just days before my court date informing me that Rick would not be representing me due to an unpaid balance on my account. I had to pull my bank records to show I had paid everything....and had actually overpaid by hundreds of dollars. I ended up hiring a different firm after seeing how mismanaged my case was with Rick. Rick did refund the $500 overpayment I made to his firm but would not even discuss my disappointment with the way he handled my case or the amount I had paid for this terrible representation (over $3,500). I should have done more research before hiring Rick. He added so much additional stress (both emotional and financial) to an already stressful situation.
