I had an Mr. Brenner, by recommendation, for almost three years while my SSI case was going on. I do give him credit for winning my case but end result was he never took the time to explain to me how SSI really works. I never met him until the day of court and it was still two months later before I received any benefits. I receive $270 a month to live on. Backpay was only in the hundreds until a year from now. I reached out to Mr Affleck and he refused my emails completely. I do thank him for winning but I sure wish I had been given better counsel.

Allison Affleck, Social Security Attorney with Affleck & Gordon, PC—I was very lucky! I found Allison the old fashion way…the Yellow Pages, after other recommended attorneys never called me back. She was amazing from our first meeting until the final settlement, including the almost 4 month wait for the back pay from SSA. My whole process took 2 ½ years to get my determination letter, of which Allison was involved for 21 months. She is professional but also just as important, a gentle soul. I could not have not solved my SSI case without them. I fought on my own and I was denied. The first day of my assessment I was without hope. The paralegal has guided me though every step. When I offered to help a friend who had a debilitating disease, I had no idea what I was in for. On the advice of a friend, I called Affleck and Gordon to get some help applying for Social Security disability. My call was routed to Harry Brenner. My name is Donna Hampton, I am a very satisfied Affleck and Gordon client. I was so nervous when I first talked to Allison Affleck about my case, I was put at ease very quickly, having just had a very bad experience with another lawyer this came as such a relief.
