We found Jonathan Mendoza through Yelp, and he was the third and last attorney we sat down with when we were shopping for lawyers. He made us feel at ease in that he clearly explained the different paths that we would potentially have to go through. The other lawyers we had previously met with in person were either 1) SHADY or 2) did not seem engaged enough in our case for us to confidently hire them. Having a straightforward, honest and knowledgeable attorney to represent us was non-negotiable as we did not want to waste ANY time or money. And we are glad we went with Empire Law as we are now highly satisfied customers!

We were looking to Petition for an Alien Relative (USCIS I-130 form) and we had a slightly complex case. Both the attorney and his SUPER paralegal, Gabriela, are extremely knowledgeable in the realm of immigration law and they efficiently guided us through the entire process. Not only did they accommodate to our availability, but they clearly instructed which documentation to gather in support of our application despite having met in person only a handful of times. They filled out a BIG stack of paperwork on our behalf and our interview appointment arrived within 3 months of them submitting our application.

In addition, they had a representative accompany us to our interview with USCIS in San Bernardino. Our interview went very well, and while it was partially due to the kind immigration official who interviewed us, we had been fully prepared with the documentation we would be asked for, had been mock interviewed by our legal team and our application was accurately filled out. Final (minor) amendments were clearly marked in advance of the interview for the official to review and approve. The overall process was a lot smoother than we had anticipated it would be before we started- thanks to this awesome duo!

The price was right based on the services we received from them. There was a minimal consultation fee, but it was applied towards our balance. We have recommended their services to our friends and family. If we ever need immigration attorneys again, we will without a doubt go back!

A friend of mine gave me Jonathan’s assistant number and told me to try out his law office because they are good people. Then my husband and I tried to reach out to his assistant asking for help with our case. We received a letter of intend to deny from USCIS, and even the attorney we hired before didn’t want to continue with our case.

We had the 3rd interview on September, so I called Jonathan’s assistant explain to her our case. She then set a phone call so that my husand I could talk to Jonathan. One week before the interview, Jonathan and his assistant sat down with us to do the mock interview for 4 hours. He said it’s always better to be over-prepared than we went to the interview with under-prepared. 3 weeks after the interview, we received a letter from USCIS to submit my medical exam and we are waiting for the last decision. During the time working with Jonathan, we felt very comfortable and happy. They are very friendly and responsive. His assistant always gets back to you asap. She is very helpful and a sweetheart. I reached out to Jonathan for help with my brother's case. He had been arrested for assault and a few other felony charges, a total of 5. This was partially a result of it being his second run in with the law. Things were not looking good for my brother, but I reached out to Jonathan and he started working on his case right away. Even going to Adelanto to visit him in person. Because of Jonathan's diligent and thorough investigation, he was able to find a major flaw in the DA's case that ultimately brought down my brother's charges significantly and getting him released from jail immediately. My brother could have chosen to proceed with a public defender but it is highly unlikely that a public defender would have found the inconsistency that Jonathan and his team found.
