About a year and half ago I made really poor decision. I got behind the wheel after having a couple of drinks during a night out with some friends. Little did I know it would turn out to be the worst night of my life.I got pulled over as soon as I started driving. The officer smelled alcohol coming from my breath and conducted some field sobriety tests on me which I failed. The officer then gave me a preliminary breath test, I blew well over the legal limit. Next thing you know I'm in handcuffs and on my way to county jail. Just like that my life had been turned upside down.

I arrive at the county jail and immediately get booked and processed(Fingerprinted, mugshot and thrown in a cell.) It felt like a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I sat in that cell for 11 hours. I was finally released and went home. I was in shock the rest of the day. I had never been in trouble with the law before in my life. I didn't know what to do next. What's going to happen to my job ? What's going to happen to my license ? How do I fix this ? That's when I realized I needed legal help.

So I started doing what you are probably doing right now. I was on the internet doing research on attorneys that could help me with my situation. After reading some of the reviews and seeing the pictures of the tattoos a couple of Kia's clients got, I thought to myself "this is the guy." It was pretty late around 9:30pm-10:00pm when I came across his yelp page, but I decide to give Kia a call and leave a message so he could get back to me first thing in the morning. Next thing you know Kia answered my call ! I gave Kia a quick rundown of my situation and he advised me to come in for a free consultation the next day.

So the next day comes around and I head down to Kia's office for my consultation. When I walked in I was welcomed by Kia and staff. I sat with Kia and went over all the details of my arrest. I immediately felt relief after speaking with Kia. Right off the bat he had a game plan for my situation. So I hired him as my attorney. He gave me his price,(which was a very fair price.) And we got to work right away. Kia assigned me some tasks that would help my case greatly. Kia gave me the best and worst case scenarios. He kept everything straight forward and to the point. Which is honestly one of the best traits of Kia. He didn't sugar coat anything. Any question I had or suggestions I had, he kept the answers straight and honest with me.

I completed all the tasks Kia assigned to me and we were ready for court. (This is after the DMV hearing that Kia took care of.) Once we went to court, it didnt go too well with D.A. so Kia held off on trying to cut a deal. We went to court 3 more times after that and Kia never asked me for a penny more ! He really took his time with my case. I know people that have hired attorneys that will try to end the case on the first court date, no matter what the conviction is. Not Kia! He gave his 110% in my case which I am forever grateful for. We reach our fourth and final court date and the District Attorney worked out a deal with us. I walked away with a Wet Reckless charge instead of DUI! All that time and effort paid off in the end, and I couldn't have been happier!

I was referred to Kia through a friend after finding myself staring into the eyes of a DUI. This was my first experience having to deal with the colossus of a nightmare the DUI process puts you through in CA (not that it should be easy). I couldn't of had a better referral for The Kia Law Firm.
