I was very impressed by how much information I received today. The attorney took time to look over my cases and even looked them up on court computer to make sure that I was aware of other court dates. My case is complicated with criminal, family, and immigration. Will definitely recommend.

I went in for a consultation. Mr. Ali was 2 hours late. When he finally called me into his office, he paid more attention to his computer than to what I was saying. He gave me very little feedback on my case and then told me he charges $200 an hour. If the consultation was any indication of how he handles cases, I recommend you find someone who's more professional or at least shows up on time. He sounds better on paper than he is in real life. American black citizens should not waste their time visiting this lawyer for an initial consultation. Even though he claims to advocate for civil rights, he's not talking about black people or black females that are American. There is a difference between American blacks and darker skinned immigrants from other countries. They do not prefer us and can be just as hateful and racist against us as whites have been traditionally. Our appointment was at 5 pm and he didn't show up until around 6:20. Then, when he walked into his office late, he didn't speak and went straight back to his office. His wife was wearing a head scarf and walked in holding a little boys hand. And she even frowned when I smiled and said hi. Her dirty look could have burned a hole right through me. The wait was chilly. It was getting dark and we were about to leave. I noticed that there were no blacks working in his office. And his assistant was about to leave for the evening herself. At about 7:10, he finally called us back. Once again, he was rude, he immediately told us we weren't going to get any money, and reminded us that this was not going to be a big case. Usually a JD will hear you out before assessing the case. But this lawyer barely let us get a word in edgewise about our experience. With all of this said, I would suggest that you not waste your time with such an unprofessional lawyer and law firm. In response to the law firms response, I was correct in the location of the law firm my family and I visited. I did experience the wait, the rudeness, and the unprofessional treatment. Your familial history doesn't bypass the fact that you seemed to lean towards favoring immigrants verses American black citizens. You can check your own stats yourself. The racism is in that fact and nothing else. This past hidden situation of blacks being racist against other American blacks has now been uncovered. And a phone call won't change things. The best thing you can do going forward as a business is be kind, be professional, be humble, be on time or reschedule if you are running late which is fair. You might be a king of sorts in your own home. But, you'll never be the king of other people's time. Take the time to hear a matter and consider what you hear instead of shutting people down with cutting comments. A phone conversation won't change things. It is the behavior that needs to change.

If I had one word to describe Mr Ali it would be the word PASSION. Mr Ali has mad passion for his clients and the cases in which he represents.

I recently found myself in a situation where I needed the services of an experienced attorney. I knew the facts of my case like the back of my hand. Not knowing Mr Ali at the time, I hired another attorney. I paid this other attorney "IN FULL" to deal with my case. However, this other attorney never gave me the time to adequatly hear the intricacies of my case to develop the necessary strategy to defend against false accusations.

I then had the opportunity to see Mr Ali in trial for several days where literally all the stakes were on the line. I personally witnessed Mr Ali PASSIONATELY defend his client as if his own life and freedom were in the balance. Mr Ali won that very important case.

Needless to say, although I had already "paid in full" my former attorney for an ongoing case, I fired him. He lacked the passion to fight that I needed in my case. I then hired Mr Ali, a man of great integrity, to take the helm on my case. From day one Mr Ali gave me TIME. He listenened to every painstaking tantalizing detail of my case and is now passionately and professionally defending me against those who have wrongfully accused me.

Honestly, Mr. Ali was a God sent. I’ve been dealing with a very messy family law case that was reopened back from 2008. On top of that a civil law case, which were all brought on by my ex-husband. 2 courts one very vindictive ex-husband! I went through various legal aids, self help resources and lawyers and non of them wanted to deal with the complications of a dual case let alone matters that were reserved years ago in family law court. Unfortunately because of that, I was passed on like the problem child and worse, given bad legal advice to quickly get rid of me, that ended up being very detrimental to the case.
Ironically, I came about finding Mr. Ali after such a lawyer decided to drop my case 2 days before a civil hearing!! This only after his office strung me along for 3 weeks prior ensuring me that he would pick up my case as soon as he returned from vacation and I paid my retainer! Not surprisingly that same lawyer dropped me 20 minutes into our first and only phone conversation and billed me $477 for a phone consult.
By now it was after hours and I just got dumped by a lawyer. I didn’t have representation and I haven’t filed anything with the Court, depending of course that the lawyer was handling all that. If I couldn’t find a lawyer, my only plan was to go into Court, explain what happened and hope that the Judge would grant an extension.
In my panic, I frantically called every lawyer in my surrounding areas. True to his dedication, Mr. Ali’s was the only one still in his office working and I was asked to come in right then and there for a consult.
Upon meeting Mr. Ali, I was impressed by his professionalism, mannerism and extensive knowledge. To my surprise, Mr. Ali didn’t even flinch like the others as I rambled on about all the events that had unfolded and he agreed to represent me in my upcoming civil hearing. He also agreed to take on my family law case. His office handles multiple practices and they are very proficient in all of them. I was beyond relieved that Mr.Ali wasn’t intimidated nor turned off by such a messy case and the hours that will have to be devoted to it. He is very sincere and it was apparent that his main focus was to advocate for me and my daughter and not gauge me with frivolous or exuberant fees. Mr. Ali is not about money, his pursuits are genuinely because he wants justice and to fight for his clients.
Mr. Ali is very humble, approachable and patient and makes sure that I understood what was happening and what to expect. But don’t be fooled he’s very passionate and assertive and will definitely show his teeth to defend you! He's very strategic and prepares himself so he's not caught off guard. He will gladly hear your input and concerns and not dismiss your feelings or fears.
Overall I can’t thank him enough for his time and willingness to see my case through. I haven’t even mentioned his staff and associates.
