This will be the third time my family has retained Rossana Mitchell. She handle both of my brothers divorce cases back in 2008 and 2009. After witnessing her in action I felt comfortable enough to return to her for our third case when we began having child visitation issues with my ex sister in-law. This law office was able to assist us with an Ex Parte polishing and a iron clad supplemental to express extreme concern of child neglect of my niece. After reading some reviews left here on yelp...I will admit that had I not already known of Rossana I wouldn't have wanted to take a chance on this law office. But the honest to God truth is that Rossana is truly a God send attorney. Yes she is busy. Yes she can run late. Yes you must have patience. However....I waited for her to have a free consultation for 45 minutes. And I would wait for her again. Being the last appointment of the day she could've easily dismissed us but she didn't. She met with us and was 100% invested in our case. Not once did I feel she was just in it for the money. She showed concerned for my nieces welfare. She was very affordable. She didn't mind having to answer all of my families questions. She took her time explaining due process to us. She fit us in the schedule the very next day to make sure we were prepared for our pending court hearing which was to take place in 8 days. Her communication as well as her office staffs communication was at times concerning but the bottom line is that they got all the facts straight in the end . She appeared when she needed to. If running late she rescheduled and communicated with the court clerks. And once she was there in court she delivered a grand slam. I have no reservations about her whatsoever. She is professional. She provides peace of mind. And she delivers results.

Her experience and professionalism is well worth any amount of wait time. It's easy to complain and become discouraged at her work load... but rest assured she is worth the wait.

I am proud to call her our families attorney. I know that even if her office is closed and a forwarding number isn't left nor if there is no room for a voice mail to be left that there will always be another avenue to communicate with her by email.

I honestly can say she is the people's attorney. She didn't judge me by my appearance or by my age. She was plain and simple invested in doing what is right and by the law.

She helped my brother obtain full physical and sole legal custody of my niece from a neglectful mother. Which as you know is a extremely difficult task to complete. Rare and almost unheard of,...yet here we are...living proof that it can be done.

While Ms. Mitchell gets an incredibly bad rap on this site, it's a little difficult for me to see why. She has served as an excellent attorney and fights for her clients in every possible way. Scrappy and blunt, she's basically exactly who you want representing you in your legal battle, because she fights ferociously. They don't call her the chihuahua for nothing, obviously. I wouldn't take too many of these other reviews seriously...in family law, people are bound to get vindictive.

If you're looking for an attorney that CARES, then choose this one. If you're looking for one who will cheat and lie for monetary gain, look elsewhere. Beware---some reviews have not even been written by clients, but rather by vengeful exes who Rossana has put in place. See for yourself what kind of quality service she provides!

This is the worst place to retain council from. They took 1200 dollars from me and did nothing for it other than go to court twice from me. This office came unprepared to my court hearing and was asking me for paper work. Isnt this what i paid you guys for? In addition, rosanna was never to be around when i called and her assistant becky always gave me the run around. Till this day im requesting the paper work and billing to see where my money went. Becky tells u what u want to hear but when its time for them to perform they dont. Please dont waste your time. Go some where else and spend your money on an attorney who you dont have to chase

If I could give less than one star I would. She has continually shown up late to court cases or refused to come at all. She lies about documents, and is completely unprepared when she does come to court. She is constantly interrupting the judge and the opposing council causing a disruption to the court. Even though she shows up late she demands to be seen immediately. She has no respect for anyone's time but her own.The last time I visited her office she cussed at me in from of my child, threw me out of her office and then tried to run me over with her car.

I wish I would of read the reviews before, rude people, take for ever to call you back or give you information about your case, charge like a lawyer but works worst than a public notary. 3 years and my boyfriend divorce case hasn't been finalized, I did main and 6 months was all over and didn't get charge not even 1/3 of what Rossana charges

I am a retired senior citizen. My son is currently deployed and serving our country. He and his ex has two children. This attorney called me (the grandmother) and harassed me threatening to take me to court. I tried to explain to her that it has nothing to do with me but she was yelling and threatening me. She lacks professionalism and is lacking the ability to control her anger when speaking to people. I'd never hire nor would I recommend such a disrespectful individual.

I have watched my mother go through divorce hell with this pathetic excuse for an attorney! She does absolutely nothing. Doesn't return phone calls, didnt stand up for her client in court, let clients husband run the show and did not insist that he comply with any court orders, he in fact violated 99.9 % of them and Ms Mitchell stood by and did nothing while my mother was literally locked out of her own home and not allowed to return without conditions. This attorney only seemed to peruse my mothers file briefly before during court and was unfamiliar of what was in the fike. Its seems this case was more complicated than Ms Mitchell anticipated and there wasnt enough money to be made for her to be bothered with. She didnt even do what she was paid to do. She's cocky and condescending and treats those she feels is not worth her time like second class citizens! And btw, 2 legal professionals that know of Ms Mitchells reputation advised my mother to go the bar and report her unethical behavior. I have a former co-worker that is currently employed with a legal office specializing in divorce also advised me that she should be reported to the bar. Very, very unprofessional! Enter her office at your own risk, but don't say you weren't warned!

SHE IS HORRIBLE! Very unprofessional, is late to court, never returns calls, does not even know what she has going on half he time. She does not get to know her clients at all, the only time i was ever able to speak with her was at court. She was suppose to be my attorney for child custody and i did all the work and talking myself! Worthless

DO NOT HIRE HER!! Worst attorney ever! She is a crook! I already filed for full custody when I hired her so all she had to do was serve the other person and show up to court! She couldn't do either of those simple jobs... she didnt serve the other person in time so the had to do a continuance which I was pissed about.. then she didnt show up for court she decided to do a phone appearance without letting me know.. then the judge couldn't get ahold of her and we had to take a recess.. when we got back they got a hold of her just for her to tell the judge she wasn't prepared and wanted another continuance.. the judge asked me if she told me about this and I told him no.. that I wanted to proceed with the hearing anyways.. she did nothing for me.. literally!.. and she wont refund me any money. She is a thief. I cant believe there are people in the world like this. She took my hard earned money and did nothing for me to help me out. Please do NOT go to her if you need help.. she wont help you.
