Attorney Kim helped my mom a few years ago for a conservatorship (of my brother). She was recommended by our family friends. The job was done neatly and quickly at a reasonable fee, so I recently went to her a few weeks ago at her new location. Her new receptionists only spoke English, but Attorney Kim was fluent in both languages. She's helping me draft a premarital agreement with my fiance, and I can tell that she's very knowledgeable. We are thoroughly happy.

I had a horrible experience here at Jeannie H Kim's Law Firm. I met with Jeannie Kim face to face at her office and she said whatever she needed to say for us to hand over $8,500. $3,500 from Civil representation and $5,000 for Criminal representation (WHEN I WAS THE VICTIM).
Jeannie Kim is now alleging that she NEVER worked on my case and NEVER got paid by Fred Lee for legal services on my case. Apparently, she was only renting a room from Fred Lee's office and denies any sort of association with Fred Lee or his practice.
If that were the case, why did she meet with me not just once but TWICE? At the first meeting, we sat down with Fred Lee for a brief time and then he introduced us to Jeannie Kim as his associate. We then met with her and she asked us for the court documents. We gave her the documents. She reviewed the documents and asked us some fact finding type of questions and then told us that it would be $3,500.00 to pursue the civil case and $5,000.00 for the criminal case. I remember she was so happy when we turned over those checks.
Her name is also on the signature line of the retainer agreement.
She never informed me that she was in no way associated with Fred Lee or his firm.
She met with me a second time a few months later to provide me legal advice. I recall her telling me that since the defendants were over 18 years of age, any judgment would not be enforceable against their parents. I also recall her telling me that I could continue to pursue the case. It took almost 2 years from this meeting for the civil complaint to be filed. Once the complaint was filed, the case was then dismissed few months later without my knowledge or authorization. Later I found out that I had the option of obtaining a default judgment against one of the defendants without any additional costs. Now it is too late to do anything about it.
Jeannie Kim is now contending that I have made untruthful comments and made a mistake in the subject matter and failure to remove my derogatory in nature comments will constitute aggravated defamation and libel with malice.
Everything I'm saying here is TRUE and the facts STRONGLY lead to the conclusion that Jeannie Kim was working with Fred Lee to make a sale.
