Most inadequate attorney who preys on helpless individuals who are presumably guilty. In addition to the lack of assistance Ms. Goodman provides, I would recommend that any possible client of hers is much better off representing themselves in court. If for some reason you do hire her, some advice I would follow would be to pay her after the work is done (if she does any work at all).

Great attorney to work with. She's a boss and has some serious attorney swagger. When I walked into the court room with her, everybody stopped and starred. I felt like I was getting represented by a superstar attorney. She'll run circles around any DA.

I had been wrongfully accused and felt like everything I had worked really hard for was being overshadowed by this horrible accusation. Strange, her internet posting claims she specializes in cases involving exessive force(police), and when I present my situation over the phone, an event which I recorded on video, the dimwit chick stated they don’t accept civil cases. I think I’ll call a firm who hires staff intelligent enough to actually know their root business.

In Jan of 2013 I was caught up in a perfect example of being at the wrong place at the wrong time and hanging out/surrounding myself with the wrong people. I had all my things packed and was in Wa where I moved from California making my last moving trip when the residence I use to live at was raided and no one was there which ultimately resulted in me being charged as well along with the actual person that stayed there for 2 felonys (manufacturing, and possession with intent) only because they found a Verzion bill with my name on it is why I was charged. I originally retained another lawyer which I will not mention names but he literally did absolutely NOTHING and let the case drag on for 2 1/2yrs only in the end for him to tell me the best "deal" he could get me is 1yr prison time and both felonies. He said he "thought it was a fair deal" and he would get me one last extension so I could think about it otherwise we could go to trial and I'd risk getting 3, 5, 7yrs due to the mandatory minimum sentencing if convicted by a jury. I was absolutely furious and scared at the same time and thought my life was over. But instead of giving up I came to the conclusion that I deserved a better deal and due to his lack of experience, knowledge, incompetence and professionalism I was not getting it. I immediately started looking up and researching top Orange County Criminal Defense Lawyers and time and time again Jacqueline Goodman kept popping up due to her outstanding track record and accomplishments in the courtroom. I came up with a list of 8 lawyer's and took a week off work to fly to California and interview them all. The first seven were absolutely horrible and were not giving me a good vibe at all.
