I was told that no one gets SSA disability benefits on the first time....well, I did. Megan got me my benefits in under 4 months. I really needed the health insurance, so i am very thankful!

I called West Coast Disability b/c I needed a long-term disability attorney. I spoke to Maggie. She only practices SSA law, but she talked to me for 45 minutes and explained other types of benefits that I may qualify for. I didn't know this, but the State of CA has their own benefit program that can last up to a year, so I am going to look into that program as well. She referred me to an LTD attorney in the valley, but Maggie was so helpful! She even gave me some websites to look at so I could get my State application in.

I do not care how highly recommended you are, it is no excuse to belittle somebody during your first conversation. That is about how far I got with Megan. I tried to explain to her the situation I was in, and what brought me to the decision to apply and she would cut me off and talk over me every time I attempted to get a word out.

She was insistent on making sure that I understood that there was nothing she would do for me and that I wasn't eligible to apply first because of my age. She then told me because I wasn't in a wheel chair and because I had not had surgery it was pointless. She was appalled that I hadn't been to see a specialist recently and wouldn't accept that I was no longer able to drive and had not secured transportation yet as a sufficient answer.

I told her I had 7 years of medical records and had worked up until last year. The Veterans hospital and any specialist I may have been to in the past has their info and findings in those records. Still she didn't want to help me. She finally suggested that I come in to her office with my medical records for an appointment. Sure, I will grab my 7 years of records that takes up over 3 drawers in a full size file cabinet and flag down the ride I don't have and head over there.

I was in tears by the time I hung up. If this is an indication of how she takes to her disabled paying clients, then this veteran who is suffering from, what does my Dr call it... paralysis of major extremities.... . will be just fine with out her.

This law firm is AWESOME. The customer is EXCEPTIONAL and OUTSATNDING. I spoke to Megan and she gave me some great info to help my mother with her situation. Thanks So Much

Megan ditolla ( hope i spelled it right) is a very hard working lawyer. She is caring and not just in it for the money. I would highly recommend using her.

Megan was my lawyer. From my experience with her, THERE ISN'T ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN DO BETTER. Plain and simple, she knows her stuff and is EXTREMELY informative, she makes you feel comfortable through the whole process.

My attorney Megan got me my benefits in under 6 months. I heard that never happens, but somehow she pushed it through. I met with Ms Ditolla several times and she was helpful and nice. However, it was unfortunate she switched my case over to her partner Cari Schwartz. She never introduced herself except by email very late in the process. She sat like a deer in the headlights at my hearing because the judge was very aggressive and she id nothing. I feel they steered me in the wrong direction every time. Told me not to ask for a letter from my physician that I should be on disability. I felt that there was inadequate council. If I had Ms Ditolla things might have been different. I do not recommend this law firm at all.
