In the wee hours of the morning I sat crushed, as I watched my daughter suffering in pain and trying to appear strong to comfort me. I was also trying to appear strong yet; I was feeling hopeless.  A few days before, my daughter’s pain management doctor and I had an unspoken discussion.  Very deliberately He placed into my hands a document that he only puts into the computer file.  His writing stated he suspected my daughter had RSD-Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.  My daughter and I never heard of this illness before.  He made me understand how critical it was to begin to treat this illness in the beginning stages.  For the first time we heard a diagnosis and realized how critical her injury was.

When I hired Mr. Rechtman over a year ago for my work injury, I wasn't receiving benefits from workers' comp. That changed almost immediately after I hired him.
