I was arrested for DUI in December of 2017. I was cited for felony DUI with bodily injury and hit and run. I immediately contacted and spoke with Christopher Taylor after my arrest. Mr. Taylor assured me that charges would be promptly filed by the District Attorney within 3 to 4 months. Mr. Taylor was also very insistent that the DA would be unlikely to reduce or lower the charges. Charges were not filed by the DA until November of 2018. When the DA filed charges, the charges filed were for misdemeanor DUI. During the entire course of that year (2017-2018), Mr. Taylor never called, wrote, or emailed me to discuss the status of my case. Mr. Taylor called after the DA filed charges to discuss the case. Mr. Taylor accepted the first plea deal put on the table by the DA. Mr. Taylor heavily advised against pursuing the matter further, as Mr. Taylor was reluctant to go to trial.

Bottom line: $5000 to accept the first deal the DA offered after the DA lowered the charges and delayed filing for 1 year.

After over a year, being in this program for my infraction it appears to me that they that this company is either overloaded with business or are just not a good firm. Two previous occasions there was something that warranted an apology. One of those times I was called at the last minute for documents are needed to bring to court for updates that if I did not bring that would be a warrant for my arrest. Today was the third apology I got from this company regarding not fully explaining situations. Specifically, last week, when asked about removing my IID my attorney says oh yeah you can have it out after a year. Only to find out from DMV that if I take it out I'm back to a restricted license. I just feel like my attorney should have said that to me when I talk to her. I don't know all the questions to ask but I feel like they should know the answers without me asking every single damn question. If you know the contingencies then explain them to me without me having to call the DMV and staying on the line with them for 30 minutes to tell me that. $5000.《rev.to 3stars. 2stars was too harsh.》
