I knew of Mr. Owen based upon his reputation as being one of the best if not the best divorce attorney in the area. When I first met with him I was very nervous and afraid about my future. My wife had thrown me out of our house and forbidden me to return. I was concerned that if I did return that she might make false allegations of abuse and family violence against me. It was a very difficult process, but I kept my faith in Mr. Owen. When we finally went to court for our trial Mr. Owen was able to present my case to the judge in a way that enabled her to understand the issues in my marriage and the reasons for the separation. The judge refused to award any alimony to my wife. She ordered my wife to vacate the marital residence within two weeks and awarded the home to me. I did have to pay my wife a small sum of money for her equity in the house, but the amount was more than reasonable. I was able to keep 100% of my retirement which I had accumulated over 30 years of working. I would advise anyone going through this process to be patient, to have faith in Mr. Owen and follow his advice. I could not have asked for a better outcome and I’m so glad it’s all over.
