In 2015 I was in a car accident in Buena Park Ca. It being my first accident I had no idea what to do, I was scared and overwhelmed. You hear so many horror stories about lawyers, this has not been one of those stories!
It was such a relief when I found Escamilla law group. They were and continue to be great! This past summer I needed their assistance once again in regards to the same case. As soon as I contacted Sergio and Elena, they got right to work and have resolved my problem.... three years after the case closed. SERGIO ESCAMILLA IS THE BEST ATTORNEY IN AZ. I was hit head on at around 60-70 mph and was left in critical condition. Since I was rushed to the hospital for surgery and trauma I wasn't able to speak to a police officer. The "man" who hit me also had the audacity of blaming me for the incident saying I ran a red light, which was not true. With such a high hospital bill, being on the wrong side of the police report, and the possibility of such a low return Lerner and Row dropped my case as soon as they were able to locate the police report. No other firm would take my case...and just like those two angels who saved my life the night of the accident came Sergio. He is very understanding and fought for THREE YEARS with the insurance company, hospitals, physicians, etc. Sergio and Roxan(a) always kept in touch and kept me updated. Now that the case has been closed, hospitals and so on have been paid off, AND I still got a good chunk of the settlement, I could not have had a better attorney than Sergio Escamilla. If I was able to give a higher rating, I would.

Escamilla took our case of a hit and run accident with no witness but a 3 letters of a license plate. I’m surprised to see how many positive reviews are on here for this law firm. It makes me question why I was not treated as fair as these other commenters. Unfortunately I did not have as pleasant as an experience, it took a year to receive my settlement, I was constantly brushed of by the para legal making excuses why my case is taking so long, I saw my lawyer once and that was the initial signing, I only got his attention when I had to threaten to take more action to get the ball rolling after being fed multiple excuses why my case was taking so long, I was told they would work with lowering my medical bills and chiropractor bills, but the chiropractor walked away with more than me, the lawyer got the same amount I received, works hand in hand with the chiropractor to rack up the bill so they get more in the end. I had asked to receive a copy of my case after I received my settlement check (which they insisted I could not cash until a specific date.. probably because they had it in an interest earning account for who knows how long), and would not give me any copies of my settlement and where all of the money went and the break down. Which I found out later is against the law. Unfortunately I did not find out most of this until it was too late.If you expect them to be honest and tell you, you are only fooling yourself. There are honest (rare) lawyers out there, this firm is not one of them. Don’t make the same mistake I did. *update to respond* How did you look for me in the system without knowing my information and on the contrary, every time I called I would get confused with another Rebecca Rodriguez in your system. So trying to demean the fact that I was your client shows just how much you care for them. I did not have a good experience and was low balled, take accountablilty for your actions. You shouldn’t try and over shadow it.
