He was laughed at by opposing counsel because his performance was so terrible. I was embarrassed to have him as an attorney. He charged top dollar and can not deliver. Don't waste your time with this attorney. He lost my case and would not take calls afterward. He gave me the verdict on the weekend through email. He is horrible!!!!! Mark Perryman is a liar. I'm sure I bought the suit he is wearing in the picture. He is not experienced in probate and he charged me double the going rate. He did give an opening argument and the little he did was a disaster. He is not organized, he doe not listen, he is all about the money. All he an do is show up to court dressed like a peacock. He tried to abandon the case when it was time to go to court. DO NOT use him!!!! BEWARE!!!! In response to Mark Perryman- 02/24/19 This attorney is NOT a good attorney, he did not file forms that should have been filed in the beginning, he over charged me. Instead of 5k retainer he charged 10K and 450.00 an hour. He is not worth that at all. His experienced is limited as he had to inquire with someone else. At trial he stumbled and stuttered and appeared to be nervous in court. His number one focus is MONEY. In court he was begging for money and could not even focus on the case. I spent over 40K on a small probate case which I should have won. Do not trust him, he is horrible.

Mark Perryman fights for justice with a passion. In my case, there was a Will stolen. My brother and one sister tried to get me out of the inheritance as I am the oldest of five siblings and I am the step- daughter and was appointed to be the executor of my Mother's Will. Mark saw right through these two and fought hard. Eventually my one sister who stole the Will gave it back after Mark brought her in for a deposition. Mark asked us to be truthful and tell him everything, we did. He doesn't mess around. He was an answer to our prayers and I will always be grateful that he represented me.
This lawyer did a terrible job for us. Perryman took payment from my elderly mother he had no legal right too. It'll cost me more to sue him thats if I could even find another lawyer to file the case. Reported him to the California Bar and told us it was a civil matter.. over money matters you have to go to to small claims since it's ONLY 10,000!

I can absolutely recommend Mark Perryman, Attorney. I am out of state and was involved in a probate lawsuit in Riverside county. On the initial phone conversation with Mr. Perryman was lengthy and extremely informative. I choose him to represent me in this suite and was completely impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of the area of probate law. He was able to comb through all the documents that I provide to prepare a response to the suite. He had assemble an answer to the respondents attorney where instead of going to court they accepted an out-of-court settlement as they knew we would had been victorious if the formal trial was completed and they would have lost their lawsuit. He was able to negotiate with the mediator and the other attorney to provide a positive and acceptable outcome to my case. Mr. Perryman and his office was always in contact with me on what was transpiring on the case. I will be using his services again as I now need to close out probate here in California. His communication, knowledge, expertise and knowledge of the court system provide me with the best outcome I could had ask for. There are numerous attorneys in this are but, it would be a wise decision if you are needing a competent, dependable and honest attorney to consider Mark Perryman.

Mark Perryman's poor representation caused us to lose our Family Home
My sister and I hired Mark Perryman to handle a small probate case that was contested by two siblings. He charged us a $10k retainer( far above the going rate) and claimed he is specialist in probate litigation. He talked
a good game to get the case, then became a price gouging tyrant. Mark was more focused on getting money than preparing the case. He consistently sent invoices with expensive charges for even the most petty services; when questioned about the egregious charges, he became belligerent. Mark does not listen to input from his clients and disregards good advice. We forged ahead since he claimed to be so skilled and experienced in probate cases.
He describes his litigation style as competitive, tenacious, and aggressive. It's exactly opposite. In court, he presented himself and our case like a total amateur. He stumbled over his words and appeared disoriented and confused. Mark forgot to bring a key piece of evidence to the trial; he did not effectively cross examine witnesses and let the opposing counsel (a fairly new graduate from law school) walk all over him. The judge corrected and reprimanded him several times; finally becoming dismissive and rude after seeing that he was totally inept and unprepared. The opposing counsel laughed at him. My only regret is that we did not fire him sooner.
Mark emailed the judge's decision to us on a weekend; then refused to answer or respond to phone calls for days. We paid Mark Perryman almost $40 thousand dollars for his services...what a waste! He did not protect our interest... but had no problem gouging for money. We were RIPPED OFF by Mark Perryman. His lack of professionalism, preparation, knowledge of the law, poor judgment and embarrassing performance in the courtroom is a disgrace. Mark Perryman made us lose our family home! If you choose to do business with him... do so with fair warning.
