Months instead of 8-12 months. Made us feel like we mattered when immigration makes you feel dumb. Thanks so much really could not of done it without you. Nicola Varela
I would highly recommend Ms. Wood to anyone that is in need of help or guidance. I was extremely happy with the outcome.
I was recommended to Ms. Wood by a teacher at my community college. At first, I was only going to consult, but after listening and explaining everything in detail, I knew that she was the right person to hire as my lawyer. It helped me in every step, from the application to request my American passport through the citizenship of my mother and to collect all the required paperwork. There was an incident on my part and she told me what I had to do to fix it. In the end, I was able to get my American passport. She was always available and she answered my messages the same day. It was a good experience for me since I did not even know where to start. One advantage was that I had the ability to speak Spanish and was able to describe the process to my parents.
I would recommend Ms. Wood to anyone in need of help or guidance. I am extremely happy with my result.

Marie is a great immigration lawyer, she always makes time to answer all the questions arising during the length of one's process.
She always helped me to understand how to navigate successfully through the intricacies of the immigration rules.
As a person, she is nice, warm, and easy to interact with! She is always keeping one's spirits lifted when one needs it the most!
When visiting her office, she always receives you with a warm smile, helping you feel welcome and easing the worries or anxieties that one might feel throughout the immigration process.
I strongly recomend Marie E. Wood for all your immigration needs.
Marie is as good as it gets. She was always very quick to reply to my emails and questions. I never felt rushed, or that I was on some kind of a clock with her. She always answered my questions thoroughly and she was instrumental in preparing me for the civics exam. She prepared me for what to expect from the moment I walked in to the USCIS building, until the moment I left. She explained everything, from the security screening I'd go through once entering the building, to what to expect in the interview itself. She attended my interview with me, and she was very good at easing my anxiety in the waiting room while we waited to be called for my interview.
I am thrilled to say I passed my exam with flying colors, and although I credit the work I put in to it for my success, I believe Marie's invaluable aid and legal counsel fully prepared me so there were no surprises. I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking to immigrate or naturalize.
