Mr. Dayton wasted 15 months of my time and $4,000 of my money until I wised up and finally fired him. I hired him through ARAG for a real estate matter that he assured me he could handle though he seems to specialize in bankruptcy from the only positive reviews he has on the internet. It took him nearly two months to write a demand letter and he failed to set up a mediation with one party after 10 months. He wasn't aggressive with the other side's attorney and forwarded me an email from this attorney explaining why she was too busy to set up a mediation. I gave Mr. Dayton money to file suit against the other party and force them to mediate, but he decided not to do this and just keep waiting for them to agree to a mediation date. Mr. Dayton is also poor at returning phone calls and responding to emails. I warned him I would fire him if he couldn't set up a mediation by a certain deadline and he failed to do it. I sent complaints about him to ARAG and The State Bar of California. I hope he's disciplined for his incompetency and failure to adequately represent clients in a timely manner.

I was referred to Dayton for an immigration matter through my legal shield service. He has responded and now are working towards resolving this matter
