I hired Emily Marx as my attorney for a stepchild adoption with the biological parent in opposition.
If you don't know, a stepchild adoption is a really difficult thing to achieve with out the biological parents consent, so things got complicated fast.
Before all of this we were talking to attorney's and getting quotes, Emily marx with her confidence experience and knowledge stood out over every one i had talked to, although she wasn't really within our budget it became really clear to me that if i wanted to stand a chance of winning this case i needed Emily on my side.
Once we got in to trial and things became complicated it seemed like it took a turn for the worst until it was her turn, she absolutely killed it, she ran over their defense like a freight train, that's the best way i can describe it, and because of her we won that step child adoption hearing. I definitely recommend Miss Emily Marx and her team.

I gave close to half of my retainer amount for my child custody case to this attorney and found out that there had been nothing done or services rendered towards my case. Then when advising to stop everything and reimburse me they didn't want to do it till the end of month and being complicated about. Finally they gave me 2/3 rds of my money and want me to wait till next month to give me anything and they claims that I will owe them for services when there was nothing done. DON'T HIRE THIS ATTORNEY FOR YOUR CASE YOU WILL BE MAKING THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE.

In June of 2018 I contacted Emily Marx and hired her to represent my family in our guardianship case, it was the best decision I could have made. The whole court and process did take a year, but when we started, I was told up front that factors can delay outcome and why.
