Mr. Prater was the rudest person I have ever talked to on the phone. I was calling him to hire him for a case after being referred to him by another attorney. He asked me a question and when I answered him with 3 words he interrupted to say he was basically giving me a free consultation over the phone?!?!? I started to respond and got out 2 words ...ask me and never got out the rest of my sentence ....the questions you need to when he interrupted again and said can I PLEASE ask the questions. How do you expect to get business if people can’t call you and you determine if you are the right person to represent them. I quickly decided he was not the man to represent me. Arrogant and pompous and must have lost in court that day to take it out on a stranger on the phone. My time is important too and I don’t need you to waste it thinking your time is more valuable than mine.

Your responses to your one star ratings speak volumes to your professionalism and integrity. If I had taken time to read your reviews and replies I could have saved us both time and never called. My mistake and a valuable lesson learned. I was just trying to help out a local business. You are absolutely right about one thing. I am a non client and never will be. My advice to future clients, do your homework. Mr. Prater may be the perfect person for you and your case. However, when 28% of the reviews are one star and the same behaviors are continuously mentioned, they can’t be all wrong.

They get the one star for calling me back in a timely manner!! Beyoind that Mr. Pater was then only concerned about money. He told me I had to pay him 130 dollars to answer a yes or no question for me. I kept explaining money wasn't a issue and that if he could answer the question then I would know if he would be suitable for what I needed done. He still refuse and said I need to come to his office and pay him for a consultation then he would answer the question. SMH... It's lawyers like Mr.Prater here that give LAWYERS a bad name. Don't waste your time here. Speaking from experience

Prater and his staff were very rude. I was a new client asking to for assistance to review a contract. They made me wait 45 mins past my appointment before sending me home. He didn't even have the audacity to come out and apologize. Then when he called me the next day he hung up on me within 30 secs claiming he was too busy to talk to me. I would not suggest anyone doing business with them. Their customer service was horrible and they have no respect for their customers.

Keith and his staff did a wonderful job for me through my divorce !! I have nothing but good things to say and highly recommend them for any legal help anyone needs.

This was the worst experience ever! Four years ago I contacted Mr. Prayer through a plan I pay for out of my check. A service setup by my job Sprint. My issue was I took a tumble at. Family Dollar and twisted my ankle very bad. I missed weeks from work and had and still have major pain. I reach out to Mr. Prayer to handle at the lease to help me get the money lost for the time I missed from work but I made the wrong decision when choosing Mr.Prater. No one ever called me so I called often with no update. Then I was told it could take a year before I hear anything so I waited again. Still no word. My parents my wife and my job was wondering what the hold up was. So after two years I call and made an appointment with him to catch me up on my case. When I got there he told me after all this time nothing has been done. In fact he said his assistant never worked the case and assured me he will be handling my case personally going forward. Her it is a year and a half from that statement and still never heard from him or his staff! My case is so old now the I am sure any video or evidence is gone other than my bills pain and headache! I have never sued anyone and did not know the ends and outs. From the beginning while telling him about my case he seem more concerned about writing me a WILL or if I knew anyone who wanted a Will. My wife was like he is not concerned with your little case! Very unprofessional I will be reporting the level of service he is supplying to everyone and to my job because we are paying out of every check to the lawyer service he is subscribed to and he may be receiving a premium for that and I wish it to cease! There is no way now I can recoup my lost due to the lack of service! If I performed like this at my job I would be or have been FIRED! BEWARE OF MR. PRATER! If your case is not big don't expect a call back. Think twice before taking your issues here! Consider yourself warned! If I can save one person that would be great. 4 years ago I should have made a better decision. Don't let those few positive reviews fool you please. I am so glad you responded to my review of you. You have some of your facts incorrect. 1. From the start I asked you and your associate if I had a case. He told me you would not have taken it on if I didn't. 2. I never came to you or called upset so I don't know why you are saying that. 3. The last time I seen you you stated you were going to handle my case personally so where did you get you told me I have no case. Either you don't remember me or you are lying to justify your bad review. If you would have told me 4years ago I had no case I would have just accepted it. You and your staff never engaged me and just kept us wondering. If I never reached out to you I would have thought you were still working my case. As a saved man I am not here to argue and have no hard feelings. I do know when I mess up I take responsibility for my actions and try to make amends. I do not look for excuses or make up lies to make myself look better. Must be a lawyer thing.

Just a quick note to anyone looking for representation. Mr. Prater handled my divorce and as most divorces, it was very ugly. I was threatened about visitation (or lack there of), child support, and alimony. My life was in ruins. Not only did Mr. Prater take the time to listen with expressed compassion, empower me with the knowledge of my rights as a father, and thoroughly explain the entire legal process, he made me feel like a person, and not just another client.
