So impressed with the level of support and tools CHDB provides to Community Association Board Members to empower them with information to operate more efficiently, effectively and... within the law.

Sometimes with growth and success a firm becomes so large that they loose their personal touch. That's not the case here. In my experience they still treat each client, no matter how large or small, with the same personal touch they always have. It's never a challenge to get hold of an attorney or staff, and they have always been able to respond immediately to urgent matters. They have invested heavily in education in our industry which has helped raise the bar for all of us. Kudos!

Extremely pricey "services" will bankrupt your HOA without thinking twice. Would NEVER recommend this establishment for your legal needs.

We hired them for collections of past due HOA dues. Did nothing not one letter. Blood suckers charging for work not done For the past 6 months. Beware of this firm!!!!

I work with many Attorneys in property management and I have to give it to CHDB! They are responsive and get results! Highly Recommend. Javier and Andrea are fantastic!

This office is so terrible. I presented an offer to my hoa to settle. Which i think they just automatically deny. I kept following up. What's the result. Haven't heard anything. I finally went to hoa office to find out they hadn't received my offer. That I had submitted 4 months earlier. So of course the legal cost rises at my expense for their lack of work. How do you not submit it and how do you not follow up when the home owner is calling you to remind you. Then send you a summons and then not even 24hrs later after you call regarding it you find out it's gone up to 1k more. How and why did they submit this if they knew they were going to file suit for new amount. Guess who pays that. Yeah the hoa office with my fees. Absolutely shady business and they told me not to respond. Um what? Anyway I'm sure they are illegally doing things and they know that we're hopeless. I only got behind because my ex's name comes first so everything was going to him and he failed to tell me. I had only been in my home 3 months and didn't register that I hadn't gotten a bill for fees.

I have used Carpenter Hazelwood Delgado and Bolen for years and they have done an excellent job. Keep up the good work.

This law firm gouges the owners. I owed my association $50 and they submitted me to collection with this attorney. I payed $360 for those $50 and they paid the association a month after I had paid them each time. Then they charged me $800 of legal fees and expect me to pay it. I will fight them in small claims court. This is an abuse and no homeowners should authorize their assocition to hire this law firm. Ranch Vistoso hires this lawfirm so buyers beware.

An attorney from this firm oversaw our election process at our HOA. He did such a terrible job at reviewing the materials that several ballots that he allowed to be counted are in question, the accuracy of the information on the ballots themselves has been called into question, and when issues have been brought to his attention, he has shown little interest in addressing the problems. I'd think twice before hiring this law firm for your HOA work.

I would never, ever, ever recommend this firm. As a person with a large percentage of interest in an HOA, I feel that it is my duty to observe and report waste on either the HOA or Owner side of all situations. I recently attended a deposition where only one attorney was necessary, but two attorneys were there... and the deposition lasted almost 5 hours when it could have been completed in no more than 2 hours. So instead of 2 hours, the client (the HOA) was billed for 10 hours of attorney's fees, and depositions can range about $350/hr. This means this likely cost at least $4000 (2 attorneys plus the court reporter), when it really should have cost about $800. This shows wanton disregard for their own clients' budgets, and if you're part of a HOA board I'd go elsewhere or go into this knowing that it's going to be incredibly costly. Then again, they do have to pay for that expensive high rise office.
